Privacy PolicyGoogle user data (YouTube and Google Drive)
This section supplements our privacy policy and explains how Republishing handles data received from Google APIs when you connect a Google account (YouTube or Google Drive).
Data we access
- Basic Google profile: name, email address (and whether it is verified) and profile picture, to identify the connected account and to verify that the Drive folders you share belong to you.
- YouTube (YouTube API Services): information about the channel and the channel videos you choose as a source; uploading the videos you decide to publish, with the title, description and visibility you set.
- Google Drive: we only request access to the files and folders you choose with Google Picker or that Republishing creates (the “drive.file” permission), for the destination folders where we save the files you publish. The source folders we read videos and photos from are only those you share with Republishing's service account. We do not request access to your entire Google Drive.
How we use the data
We use this data only to provide the features you enable: importing content from the sources you choose, processing it and publishing it to the destinations you configure. We do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models. We do not share it with third parties, except the technical providers needed to run the service (such as hosting, storage and processing), when required by law, or with your consent.
Republishing's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube
Republishing uses YouTube API Services. By using Republishing's YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's processing of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Retention and deletion
- Google access tokens are stored encrypted and only while the account stays connected: if you disconnect it in Connections, the tokens are deleted.
- Video files downloaded for processing are deleted automatically after 5 days.
- Backup copies of published videos, if included in your plan, are kept for the plan's period (0 to 365 days) and then deleted.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by following the instructions on the Data deletion page.
Revoking access
You can revoke Republishing's access to your Google account at any time from the Google permissions page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. For Drive folders shared with the service account, simply remove the share.
